Some recent scrapping

I visited the lovely Donna over at Mystical Scrapbooks this month and joined in with their August Cyber Crop.  This month the theme was "Book Lover" ...here are my 3 entries.

I have also been joining in with their Monthly Challenges for August...have completed 2 so far.

Another day of card making

The theme today at my LSS was black & white...love these very elegant cards.
Had so much fun making them and chatting with the ladies :)

We had the use of some Nestabilities dies and some Martha Stewart round-the-corner punches!

Another Card Set

Some more cards I have made today :)  I just love the tones of brown/aqua/rose. My LSS is making a kit available each month and this is the one for August.

 It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but the card front right has the butterflies cut out from the cardstock as a window to see through and then the others are on layered on top.

Card Crop Day

My LSS was running a card making crop day on Saturday, so my friend and I went along.  We had a wonderful day.  Made these 5 cards using Kaiser's new Timeless collection 6x6 pack and their Sparklets which are just gorgeous!

They are having another card crop day in a fortnight so we have signed up to go again :)

Location Location Week 2

ScrapzBiz sent us into our wardrobe this week.  I decided to take a different tack and used the photo I had of my suitcase all packed and ready to when we went overseas late 2009.  Scrapped it as my 'mobile wardrobe' for the next 2 months.

This weeks Scrap It Blind challenge

over at ScrapBiz was set by Judith...love doing these :)
Judith gave us a free choice of theme this week so I went with an old photo of Ross helping Dad to clean heaps of 2nd hand cement blocks to build a retaining wall in our backyard.  Ross was quite apt at using a hammer and bolster too! The young boys from next door always loved to come over to help.

Christmas Cards

I have started early with my Christmas cards for this year!
My LSS had some lovely pp that was just perfect for cards so I got to it and made this set and all from just 1 sheet.  Still have heaps left for some more.
